Community Music, Inc. is pleased to celebrate Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer's three GRAMMY nominations announced January 7, 2003. This brings their total number of nominations to 8 in the past five years.

POSTCARDS (Community Music, Inc.) was produced, recorded, mixed and independently released by Cathy & Marcy, including a wide range of folk, old time and jazz styles. The Washington Post said , "There was a time when folk music wasn't merely a vehicle for foisting your own musical diaries and confessions upon the world; it was a community activity where the best singers and pickers searched out the best songs of the past and present. Postcards returns to that older vision. As good as the harmony singing is, the instrumental picking is even better."

POCKET FULL OF STARDUST (Rounder Records) completes a trilogy of GRAMMY nominated lullaby CD's. Amazon.com said, "Loading their blankets with dreams and their pillows with wishes landed Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer a couple of Grammy nods, and sprinkling the stardust that's lining their pockets on this last installment of the trilogy should short-list them for a third. A parcel of lullabies this crafty and playful pops up so infrequently it practically commands us to take a stiff broom to our own sleepiness and listen along, wide-eyed."

POCKET FULL OF STARDUST has also won awards from the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Award, Parents' Choice Gold Award, Parents Guide to Children's Media Award and National Association of Parenting Publications. The duo's previous nominations include "All Wound Up: A Family Music Party!" (which spent over a week as #1 on Amazon.com), "Blanket Full of Dreams", "Changing Channels", "Pillow Full of Wishes" and the DinoRock album, "Dreamosaurus" , all on Rounder Records.
