The E Snake frames, located on the catwalk above the rink, were fed from 2 separate stages below with 56 channel multipair. The switchover was made by patching between them with Whirlwind W4 MASS connectors.

CobraNet digital transport made it easy to send 56 channels of audio on fiber from the catwalk high above the ice to both FOH and to the broadcast mix position.

FOH receiving equipment - just a fiber connection, a network switch and some CAT-5 cables.

FOH mix position - E Snake's CobraNet was fed directly into a Yamaha PM5D using MY16-C cards.

Broadcast mix position - another PM5D.
