American Amplifier of Lanham, MD approached us with an unusual request for a trimmed down version of our PRESSPOWER2 that could be enclosed in a floor box.

The photos show the finished custom unit which accepts a line level feed and generates 8 active mic/line switchable outputs.

We started with a Wiremold AC-8105 floor box and custom crafted a laser engraved panel which accepts a portion of the PRESSPOWER2 circuit. (The full size version contains 16 outputs and other features not needed in this floorbox.)

Also pictured is a free standing stagebox version for use when extra feeds or portability is required.

Several of these are destined for installation in the newly renovated press briefing room and auditorium at the U.S. Department of State.
