The CAB DRIVER is a test device for checking the operation of the speaker components within enclosures. A pink noise signal source is sent through pushbutton selectors to an assortment of speaker connectors, including Speakon NL8 and NL4, 1/4" TS and banana jacks.
This cable tester checks 3 and 5 pin XLR DMX lighting cables and also indicates the presence of the DMX DATA signal when connected to a functioning control line.
This diagnostic cable tester has connectors for analyzing almost any type of cable combination. The convenient rotary switch allows testing of each conductor within the cable and can determine the internal wiring configuration. Tests NL4, 5 pin DIN, BNC, XLR, TRS, RCA and 3.5 mm types.
The opticalCON powerMONITOR is a cost-saving, purpose-built measurement (monitoring) device for professional fiber optic broadcast, audio and video applications.By monitoring the attenuation of up to 4 transmission channels simultaneously the powerMONITOR informs "on air" and at first sight about the fiber optic quality status and simplifies troubleshooting work. Programmable alarm signals control the power budget of the fiber optic transmission lines at all times. As the user is supported with clear status info, potential problems can be identified early and maintenance intervals can be optimized.
Generate into or monitor from your analog sound system at ANY point with this one indispensible tool.
The SC48RJ Tester provides rapid, positive testing for NL4 and NL8 type multiline speaker cables, RJ45 type data cables and XLR cables.
This versatile cable tester checks many varieties of audio cables. It tests most cable combinations of XLR, 1/4 or RCA Phono plugs for shorts, opens, and polarity reverse. The handsfree design allows manipulation of the cable to locate intermittents. An On/Off switch is provided, with an LED to indicate sufficient testing power. Belt clip included .
The Whirlwind TLC (Tester-Line Cord) is a dedicated test device for Neutrik Powercon® and True One® three wire power cords. The TLC is a battery powered continuity tester that conveniently verifies the condition of power cables that are difficult to test without applying dangerous line voltage. Each of the three conductors is tested for continuity, shorts and incorrect connections. Six red LEDs indicate correct wiring or any fault conditions. A rotary switch applies test signal to each wire individually to easily determine if it is properly connected at both ends. To use the TLC, plug one end of the cable in to any of the Send connectors and the opposite end into the proper receive connector. Rotate the switch through the Line Neutral and Earth positions. The Send LED indicates that battery voltage is being applied to that wire. The corresponding Receive LED will illuminate if the cable is properly wired. If any other LED illuminates, shorted or miswired conditions exist. If no Receive LED illuminates, the wire is open. Adapters from one connector series to another may be tested by choosing the proper send and receive jacks on the rear of the TLC. The Whirlwind TLC is powered by a single 9 Volt battery located inside the unit. To install or replace the battery, remove the 4 case screws and connect the battery to the battery clip. Carefully slide the battery into the opening and confirm that the wires are not being pinched. Replace the bottom and close with the provided case screws. Do not use longer screws as they might puncture the battery. !!WARNING: DO NOT CONNECT ANY CABLE TO LINE VOLTAGE WHILE USING THE WHIRLWIND TLC TESTER!!
The Whirlwind TLP (Tester Line-Pcon) and TLT (Tester Line-True) are dedicated test devices for Neutrik Powercon® and True One® three wire power cords. They are battery powered continuity testers that conveniently verify the condition of power cables that are difficult to test without applying dangerous line voltage. Each of the three conductors is tested for continuity, shorts and incorrect connections.Testing cables is as easy as plugging them in. The TLP and TLT have three green and one red LED that indicate correct wiring or any fault conditions. Operation is hands-free; there are no buttons to push or knobs to turn.A properly wired line cord will show all three green LEDs illuminated. The earth LED light comes on before the Neutral and Line LEDs to confirm the Earth connection making first and breaking last. The Whirlwind TLP and TLT are each powered by a single 9 Volt battery located inside the unit. To install or replace the battery, remove the 6 case screws and connect the battery to the battery clip. Replace the bottom and close with the provided case screws. Do not use longer screws as they might puncture the battery. A battery test button is provided to confirm that the battery is capable of properly testing cables. The Earth LED illuminates when the Battery Test button is pushed and the battery is good.
The Whirlwind Xchecker is a portable cable checker for testing common balanced audio lines. The testing unit has a female XLR and the terminator is a male XLR, for direct connection to XLR wiring. The Xchecker tests for inter-wire shorts, open conductors, non standard wiring, and intermittent conditions. The two piece design allows testing of installed cabling up to 500’ long.XLR CABLE NOT INCLUDED.
